Shiseido 'The Makeup' Lasting Lift Mascara
0.22 oz.
By Shiseido."
COST: $22
MY OPINION:
PROs: All i have to do is curl my lashes and one application of this mascara is enough to work the magic for the entire day! I don't have to re-curl my lashes. It lifts my lashes like no other. It gives my lashes amazing volume and length! I've used this for about a year and it never gave me any smudges. How can anyone not love this?
CONs: Well, what happens when you use makeup that is waterproof? It is too stubborn to come off!!! I even use the shisedo lip/eye makeup remover and it still left clumps on my lashes! =[ If i don't see the clumps, i'll wake up with racoon eyes! Okay, i might be exaggerating...but still!
RATING SCALE: 8.5
CONCLUSION: As much as I love this mascara, i couldn't risk losing anymore lashes just from removing them! So i went on a hunt for a new mascara. Not just any new mascara but a drug store brand! I'm very doubtful about the quality of the drug store brand mascaras, but i still want to give it a try.

Shiseido 'The Skincare' Purifying Mask

Today i decided to give my face a little extra treatment. I've had this sample size of the Shiseido 'The Skincare' Purifying Mask for quite some time now. It's silly how i always forget to use it, even though its right next to all my daily skin care products. I might of ignored it somehow because its not part of my daily skincare routine. Well tonight, i was determined to try this mask. I never used any sort of mask before. But i have heard a zillion of people who use face mask and how it is has made a huge difference on their skin. I guess its about time i make use of this sample that's been waiting around for me. ^-^
For those who never heard of the Shiseido 'The skincare' purifying mask, here is a little description of it:
"Creamy, rinse-off mask rich with marine mineral clay absorbs impurities and excess sebum leaving skin visibly refined and refreshed. Transforms rough, dull skin into a wonderfully soft complexion.
How to use: Apply once or twice a week morning or evening after cleansing. Recommended for normal and combination skin.
3.2 oz."
Cost: $29
The cost does sound a bit pricey. But according to MUA reviewers, the tube can last for a long time because you're only applying a thin layer. The mask was clay like and it had a really creamy texture. I wasn't sure what to expect because this is my first time using a mask. I left it on for approximately 20 minutes and rinsed it off. The problem i had while i was rinsing was that it was a bit difficult to rinse off everything. It left thin film of semi-oily residue on my face. I had to wash my face so that everything would come off. After i patted my face dry i noticed that my skin felt refreshed and smooth. I actually like this product because it moisturized my skin really well. This mask is a good purifier. What i like about the mask is that it is so gentle it doesn't strips all the oils from the face. .I have extremely oily t-zone area and dry spots around the eyes and mouth. (it is frustrating, i know.) Therefore, I would probably limit myself to using this product only once a week. however, I would probably recommend this product to those with sensitive skin who also need a major boost in saving dry skin.
I will make an attempt to use it once a week and we'll see if there is any major difference. I will get back for further update!
